A Poolside Parfait, The Healthy Way!

Getting ready to cool off poolside with a quick, simple and healthy parfait!!! Try it!! This is easy and satisfying πŸ™‚

1/3 C wheat free gluten free blueberry waffles (squared into pieces)
1 TSB fat free cool whip & 1/3 cup protein pudding combined
Fresh sliced stawberries and blueberries
Arrange into a parfait and enjoy!!!

Spice Up Your Turkey!

A good way to spice up turkey? Add “meaty” Portobello mushroom to the mix for a delicious way to get your carbs and protein πŸ˜‰

1 turkey breast burger (seasoned to taste)
1 Portobello mushroom
1 tbsp tamari
1 tbsp ketchup
1/4 c fresh diced basil
1tsp minced garlic
1 tsp dried oregano
2 tbsp minced bell pepper
Black pepper (to taste)
1 tbsp almond meal flour


Other:
Non- stick butter cooking spray
1 cup brown rice


*In skillet, cook turkey burger to preference & set aside. In same skillet spray Portobello mushroom with cooking spray on both sides and cook until tender then remove. Combine all other ingredients in bowl and mix well. Add to skillet until well blended and heated. Place mushroom on plate and spoon sauce mixture on top. Then add turkey burger on top of mushroom. Top with remaining sauce and spoon brown rice around dish to complete.

Drink Smooth!

Fresh Spinach
Green Apple
Kale
Pineapple
Liquid egg white

*Blend all ingredients together with crushed ice and serve.

Protein pancake made with:

5 egg whites

1/3 cup oatmealΒ 

1 scoop About Time Cinnamon Swirl Protein

Top that off with sugar free syrup made with Splenda! Yummy!!!!

White Fish Dressed Up

It is interesting how some people think that because I’m prepping for a show, I am starving myself and eat the same old bland tasting foods. Well, I can tell you that is NOT the case! Here is a quick and simple way to dress up white fish πŸ˜‰

I used Mahi Mahi here:

11/2 tsp ginger
1/2 lime diced
1 Roma or Plum tomato diced
1tsp chopped fresh cilantro
1tsp diced garlic
Cracked fresh pepper to taste
Lime wedge
*Mix all ingredients together and place on top of fish. I mixed the remainder of mine with 1/3 cup brown rice.
